General Information

Rental Program

1. Minimum rental period to secure a reservation June 12, 2008 to September 1, 2008 is 7 nights. Minimum rental period during holidays and special events is 5 nights. Minimum rental period during the balance of the year is 3 nights. Pickups and returns are by appointment. All rentals originate and end in Lodi, CA. Rates are subject to change without notice. CA 7.75% sales tax applies.
   
   
2. Motor Homes are equipped with a generator. Usage is charged at $3.00 per hour. The generator is not required for normal vehicle operation. The coach battery(s) recharge when the engine is running. All regular functions on the motorhome run off 12 volt and propane. The roof air conditioning, microwave and TV/VCR need 110 volt by being plugged into an outside source or the generator.
   
   
3. Cleaning Charges: Charged @ $50/hr if unit is not returned clean.
   
   • All motor homes are non-smoking units. An add’l minimum fee of $1,000 will be charged for motor homes returned with smoke odor.
     
   • No pets allowed. A minimum fee of $250 will be charged for the removal of pet hair/odor.
4. Other Charges:
   • Fuel Charge: Charged at $5 per gallon if not topped off upon return.
     
   • Delivery Fee: RV delivery is available for a fee of $75 per round trip hour from Lodi, CA. Delivery and pickup is one round trip. Motor Home mileage and gas usage starts/ends in Lodi, CA when delivery/pickup is requested.

Insurance

1. On motor home rentals, an Insurance Binder/Endorsement from your personal auto insurance company naming Rent My RV, LLC as loss payee is required. If you are unable to secure an Insurance Binder/Endorsement, insurance can be purchased from our insurance carrier, MBA Insurance, at www.mbachoice.com. The fee is $15/day for 22’ to 29’ motor homes and $20/day for 31’ and 32’ motor homes. Our dealer number is 9026.
   
   
2. Supplemental Liability Insurance is available for $9.95 per day. SLI provides up to $1,000,000 of third party liability protection. SLI can be purchased at www.rvsli.com. Our dealer number is 9026.
   
   
3. Renter is responsible for all negligent damage.

Optional Items

1. Prepaid Exterior Cleaning: $95 per trip which includes dumping & sanitizing of holding tanks, propane refill and final exterior wash upon return.
   
   
2. Prepaid Interior Cleaning: $95 per trip.
   
   
3. Housing Kit: $195 per trip.
   
   
4. Bike Rack: $35 per trip.

Requirements

1. Renter must be at least 25 years of age with a valid driver’s license. All drivers must be included on the contract and be present at the time of rental.
   
   
2. Renter must have a valid MasterCard or VISA credit card in his or her own name and provide us with an imprint. 

Deposits & Payments

1. A reservation down payment of $250 is due at the time a reservation is made for all rentals. This down payment locks in your price and will be applied towards your rental fees.
   
   
2. In addition to all rental fees, you will be required to leave a minimum refundable security deposit in the amount of $500 - $2000 based on the model and time period of your rental. Security deposit must be placed on a Visa or MasterCard credit card. This deposit will be used towards the deductible for any damage to the RV and/or any additional fees that may be due. 
   
   
3. All estimated rental fees are due 14 days prior to departure. We accept cash, cashiers check, VISA and MasterCard.

Cancellations & Changes

1. A $50 processing fee will be charged for cancellations prior to 30 days of departure. 100% of the reservation down payment will be retained for cancellations within 30 days of departure.
   
   
2. Contract changes may be made one time at no charge. Additional changes will be charged a $25 fee.
   
   
3. No refunds will be given for days originally booked but then shortened if within 30 days of departure.
   
   
4. No refunds given for early returns. A late fee of $50 per hour will be charged for all late returns.
